In 2003, following the Year of the Rosary, it was suggested that a film should be made to present this prayer in a fresh light.

The idea of making this film was born in 2003, when the Holy Father John Paul II added the Luminous Mysteries to the Rosary prayer.
The Holy Father proclaimed the Year of the Rosary by requesting that such an important prayer as this, a true summary of the Gospel, should be taken up in a fresh and vigorous way.
It is the mission of MDN Association to communicate the Christian faith through the latest technological media. We therefore felt called to become involved and started producing JVSM.
