The solemnity of the Holy Sacrament and the Blessed Virgin Mary
The Solemnity of the Holy Sacrament emphasizes the presence of Christ among us in the Eucharist. His presence shall last until the end of time. His presence transforms the world. It is not only the memory of Christ, on the contrary, we actually worship God in the Holy Sacrament and we speak to him as a friend who lives among us.
At the beginning of the Eucharist, there is Mary
Jesus, the Son of God, became present in the world in his Incarnation through Mary. She cared for the body of Christ since the Annunciation, then at Bethlehem and throughout his childhood; and she accompanied him all the way to Calvary. She is present when the Mystical Body of Christ which is the Church is gathered together.

Mary contributed not only physically but also with her whole heart and soul:
“Therefore, at the beginning of the Eucharist, there is the virginal and maternal life of Mary, her God-filled experience, her pilgrimage of faith and love. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, she let her flesh be made into a temple and her heart into an altar.”
