We are Born Today on Christmas Day with Christ

Today, the Creator of the world is born of the Virgin.

It isn't only to our memory that the encounter of the Angel with an astonished Mary, her conception by the Holy Spirit, and her faith as wonderful as the annunciation itself, are presented, in a sense these events are shown to our eyes.

This is the beginning of the Christian people

Today's feast renews for us the sacred coming of Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, and it so happens that by adoring the nativity of our Savior, we celebrate our own origins: for the birth of Christ is the beginning of the Christian people, and the anniversary day of the head is also that of the body.

Everyone can become a new man through a second birth

If it is true that everyone is called in his turn, that all the sons of the Church are spread in the succession of time, it is also true that the entire body of the faithful, emerged from the baptismal font, crucified with Christ in his passion, raised in his resurrection, placed in his ascension at the right hand of the Father, are born with Him today.

Every believer, in any part of the world where he happens to be, who is regenerated in Christ, breaks away from the past that he inherited from his origins and becomes a new man through a second birth. From now on the lineage of his father according to the flesh no longer counts, he belongs to the race of the Savior, who has become a son of man so that we may become the sons of God.
