childbirth is evoked in John 1:13, when he speaks of Jesus, saying: "... who was born not of blood ..." i.e. the blood of natural childbirth. This virginity is an echo of Jesus' life. He is the One who leaves
way. The Holy Spirit Himself is not much evoked in Scripture, but the few passages that speak of Him (e.g. Mt 28:20) must lead us to understand that He is the equal of the Father and of the Son, and that
Annunciation and where Jesus lived for the first thirty years of His life as a member of the Holy Family (i.e. Mary, Joseph, Jesus), - Aïn Karim of Judea: where the Visitation to Mary's cousin Elizabeth, who was
wandering Aramean.” (Dt 26: 5-9) The period of nomadism or semi-nomadism dates back to the Bronze Age, i.e. 2000-1200 B.C. The events on Sinai and the Exodus from Egypt occurred towards the end of this era.
