Friars servants of Mary

Friars servants of Mary

Founded in 1233, the Order of Friars Servants of Mary added a female branch early on, and later a few secular institutes of the laity (or Third Orders).

All fraternities of the religious and secular institutes of the Servants of Mary participate in the unique Servite vocation, which gives a privileged place to community fellowship and sees the Blessed Virgin Mary as a model and a guide in the deepening and witnessing of the faith and in the carrying out of each one's mission to serve.
