The Dominicans and the Virgin Mary

The Order of Preachers (or Dominicans) was founded at the beginning of the 13th century by Saint Dominic, who sent his monks out in to the world, to preach the Gospel on the roads and in the streets.

Under his leadership the Dominicans learned to accompany their preaching with the recitation of the rosary and the meditation of its mysteries.

St Thomas Aquinas, St Albert the Great, St Vincent Ferrer, Father Garrigou-Lagrange, to name only a few... are Dominicans.
